Emily's Eye Surgery

So this morning Emily had a balloon inserted into her tear duct and inflated to open up the clog. I was quite nervous to have her have to go under anesthesia because she is so little. The procedure was not a long one so that was nice, I don't think I could have waited a really long time and kept it together. The doctor told us right before that he felt like this was the right surgery to do for her. He had been debating between two different options. Bryan gave her a blessing and I feel like Heavenly Father helped to inspire our doctor on what was best for her.

She was really fussy right after she came out and it took some time for her to come around and act like herself again. She threw up and that really helped her a lot. She got to have a Popsicle and that made her very happy. You could not tell that anything had been done to her. I can see a difference in her eye. It is no longer red and irritated. She is such a beautiful sweet girl. I am grateful that she is doing well. I am thankful for all of the family prayers on her behalf.

I'm so glad to hear that Emily's eye is doing better! (I didn't even know anything was wrong in the first place) :) She's so cute.
That reminds me of when Hailey got her tubes put in when she was 2. I was soo worried and it turned out to be only like a 15 minute procedure! It was amazing how much better she felt after that!
